The story follows the journey of a boy named Yunjae, who lives with a brain condition called Alexithymia that makes it hard for him to feel emotions like fear or anger. A sudden tragedy leaves Yunjae alone on his own, and he withdraws from the world. However, he ends up developing an unexpected bond with his bully Gon. The story revolves around the themes of love, friendship, and persistence.

2. Life Lessons by Elizabeth Kübler-Ross

In his recent Instagram story, Suga shared a few lines from this book that deeply touched ARMYs. But he was already seen reading this book back in 2017.

4. The Courage To Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi, Fumitake Koga

Suga was seen reading this book in BTS: In The Soop, season 2. The authors explore the theories of 19th-century psychologist Alfred Adler that state that every human being has the freedom to determine their future without being held back by their past experiences, doubts, and expectations of others. The book’s focus is on the liberating philosophy that allows one to grow through change instead of limiting themselves with fear.

5. The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud

Suga mentioned that he was reading Freud’s The Interpretation of Dreams in 2020. The book explores Freud’s theories relating to the “unconscious mind” through his analysis of dreams. In the same live stream where Suga talked about reading this book, he also explained that he was aware that many of Freud’s theories were refuted later.
