5 Times BTS’s Jin Proved That He Is An Introvert

Jin values having time to recharge from his busy schedule!

The Myers-Brigg Type Indicator (MBTI) is a way for people to find out how they view the world based on their personality type. Fans of BTS are familiar with the group’s MBTI results and how many of the member’s results have changed over the years. The only member whose results have stayed the same is Jin!

Jin is an INTP, meaning he has introverted, intuitive, thinking, and prospecting personality traits. ARMY are familiar with Jin’s introverted personality and find moments where that trait shines through extremely relatable.

Here are some moments that prove Jin’s status as an introvert:

1. Hiding During J-Hope’s Jack in the Box Party

J-Hope‘s Jack in the Box listening party was a star-studded event with the members of BTS in attendance. ARMY spent time analyzing posts from attendees trying to spot all of the members, but it seemed like Jin was not at the event. Jin took it upon himself to explain that he was there, but he was hiding in a corner reading webtoons and that’s why he doesn’t appear in any photos. He then posted photo proof of his attendance!

As an explanation, Jin stated that he didn’t know many people there and that once he left he was able to recharge by playing games after he left!

2. Talking on the phone is scary.

Something that most introverts can agree on is that talking on the phone is hard. When the group was asked if they’d rather text or talk on the phone, Jin was one of two members to pick texting. He said that “talking on the phone is scary.”

3. No need to hang out

When asked in an interview if they would rather hang out with celebrity friends or hang out in a dressing room, BTS’s introvert and extrovert lines showed a clear split. Jin was one of the introverts that would rather stay alone backstage and relax!

4. Gaming Over Eating

An avid gamer, BTS Jin has confessed to gaming for 16 hours over a few days. He’s confessed that he’d rather game in his free time than anything else.

If I don’t have any work to do, I sometimes spend the entire day playing games. I usually spend most of my time at home. The world outside of bed is dangerous.

He has admitted to enjoying his alone time while gaming so much that he forgets to eat!

5. This princess leaves before midnight.

In another interview, Jin was given the choice of leaving at 11 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. in a Cinderella-esque scenario.  Jin states would not have gone to the party in the first place because he doesn’t like crowded and loud places!  He does answer saying 11 p.m. before correcting and saying that he would actually leave around 8:30 p.m!

While Jin likes being alone in his free time, the members of BTS are always there to photobomb his pictures!
