Here’s The Dating History Of Each Member Of Girls’ Generation

Girls’ Generation has had some high-profile relationships!

1. Yoona

Yoona dated Lee Seung Gi from around October 2013 to July 2015. Yoona was the first member of Girls’ Generation to publicly announce her relationship.

Lee Seung Gi had mentioned that Yoona was his ideal type before they began dating and was often teased about it when he hosted Strong Heart. Due to their busy schedules, however, they ended up parting ways.

 

2. Sooyoung

Sooyoung has been dating actor Jung Kyung Ho for over 5 years. The couple has been spotted together on a few occasions during this time.

In this photo, Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho were out on a date holding hands as they crossed the street without being too concerned about the public eye.

 

3. Yuri

Yuri met baseball player Oh Seung Hwan in November/December 2014. They were spotted on their way home from watching the film Ode to My Father on April 20, 2015. They broke up 6 months after they announced their relationship.

 

4. Tiffany

Tiffany dated 2PM’s Nichkhun for over a year in 2014 before ending their relationship due to their busy schedules. The couple was supported by many fans who nicknamed them “Khunfany”

 

5. Sunny

Sunny had revealed on the variety program Roommate that she had dated a fellow celebrity in the past. She explained that although they were both artists, it wasn’t as easy as she thought to maintain a relationship as they both had busy schedules. She added that she has never maintained a relationship for more than a year. She described her ideal type to be “a kind person who is good at his job”. She has in the past chosen Yim Jae Beom, Jo In Sung, and Daniel Henney as her ideal types.

She has also indicated on an episode of Knowing Bros that she likes it when a man is “obsessed” with her and that she feels delighted when they do this.

 

6. Taeyeon

Taeyeon and Baekhyun dated for a year and were the first couple whose artists were both signed under SM Entertainment. They had apparently broken up due to their busy schedules and it has been reported that they continue to maintain a good relationship as colleagues.

 

7. Seohyun

Seohyun revealed on an episode of Knowing Bros that she had dated a former celebrity. She indicated that the person was retired from the industry and that she had cried when the broke up.

She has also mentioned on Girls’ Generation’s Romantic Fantasy that she didn’t care about a man’s appearance in the past but that she was beginning to be more concerned about looks. She said that she liked men with pretty eyes. This came as a surprise as she had previously said on a program that she doesn’t care about a man’s looks and pointed to Ban Ki Moon as her role model.

 

8. Hyoyeon

Hyoyeon dated Kim Jun Hyung, a respectable global marketing brand CEO and writer, who is 10 years older than her. The pair met at the end of 2012 and dated for two years until their separation.

The couple ran into an incident on April Fool’s Day when Kim Jun Hyung was holding a party at his house. Hyoyeon had joked around saying that she would jump off the apartment. As Kim Jun Hyung was trying to stop her, Hyoyeon apparently hit his eye in the process. Although Hyoyeon was joking about jumping off, her boyfriend had called the police for help just in case. The media later reported this as Hyoyeon physically abusing her boyfriend and her boyfriend then reporting it to the police, causing a big misunderstanding.

 

9. Jessica Jung (former member)

Jessica and Coridel Entertainment CEO Tyler Kwon dated for two years before deciding to go public with their relationship. Jessica is currently signed under Coridel Entertainment, which also manages the idol group Playback.
