“Hit choreography,” also known as “Point choreography,” is a K-Pop term for the most memorable part of a song’s dance. These pieces of choreography can sometimes become so well-known that even people who aren’t fans will know the move by heart!

According to a netizen, here are the girl groups and songs with the most well-known point choreography of each generation. Keep in mind the answers are completely subjective and may differ depending on your own experience with the song!

1. 1st Generation

Most people could agree that two songs that instantly come to mind for their choreography are “I’m Your Girl” by S.E.S

…and “Eternal Love” by Fin.KL. This generation spread from the ’90s to around the early 2000s and created the very beginnings of K-Pop and point choreography.

2. 2nd Generation

The next generation included the point choreography of “Tell Me” by Wonder Girls.

The iconic “Gee” from Girls’ Generation was also mentioned. However, many fans agreed that a variety of groups and songs stick out from this generation, including T-ARA‘s “Roly Poly.”

3. 3rd Generation

“Cheer Up” by TWICE was added to the list for the third generation…

…but many fans agreed that “TT” would also make the list!

While BLACKPINK‘s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” was a hit song, some were on the fence about whether the choreography point move would make the list.

4. 4th Generation

ITZY‘s “Wannabe” shoulder dance went viral among international fans.

While it was still big in Korea, many argued that STAYC‘s “ASAP” was more well-known!

Also, aespa‘s “Next Level” dance was mentioned for their hand dance.
