Sometimes you just need to take some chances.

Look, not every K-Drama can be a masterpiece, and sadly, sometimes they’re greatly disappointing. These 8 K-Dramas are some of the worst the internet has ever had to watch. Be warned!

This list is in no particular order.

Note: Keep in mind that everyone has different opinions, and these series may actually be pretty amazing for you!

1. That Man Oh Soo

Oh Soo (CNBLUE‘s Jonghyun) is an IT technician who belongs to a family that takes care of a magical tree. Reluctantly, he begins to take care of his family cafe since he is the future guardian of the tree. Oh Soo can see people’s hidden emotions and uses the magical tree’s pollen to make people fall in love. However, he himself is lonely and hates love. All that is about to change when he meets Seo Yoo Ri (Kim So Eun), a policewoman who has been dumped by her boyfriend.

Main complaints: Terrible ending, apparently drops his magic powers after the second episode, forgettable, and tropes/plot points that don’t make sense.

2. Fashion King

Aspiring fashion designer Kang Young Gul (Yoo Ah In) currently lives in a humble stall at the Dongdaemun Market, a crowded fashion district in Seoul known for its cheap clothing. Young Gul is timid about pursuing his dreams until he meets Lee Ga Young (Shin Se Kyung), a confident woman who has the same dream.

Main complaints: Probably one of the most hated K-Dramas ever, ending ruins the entire show, and infuriating couple.

3. Playful Kiss

Oh Ha Ni (Jung So Min) is a clumsy student who falls in love with the perfectionist Baek Seung Jo (Kim Hyun Joong). Seung Jo is indifferent towards her and rejects her. However, when Ha Ni’s house collapses, she and her father move into Seung Jo’s house, much to his dismay.

Main complaints: Male lead is manipulative, upsetting to watch sometimes, pretty much encouraging an unhealthy relationship, and apparently the sound editing was messed up.

4. Detective Alice

Cheon Yeon Ju (Apink‘s Namjoo) is a girl who specializes in investigating crimes. She teams up with Jeong Re Oh (Jo Dong Hyuk), who works at the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, to investigate a series of crimes in her neighborhood.

Main complaints: over-acting, flat characters, boring, bad writing, and unbelievable.

5. Nail Shop Paris

This series is a romantic comedy revolving around Hong Yeo Joo (Park Gyu Ri), the writer of an internet novel who dresses up like a boy to get hired. She gets hired into a famous nail shop consisting only of handsome men.

Main complaints: no chemistry, the plot doesn’t make sense, and the story goes all over the place.

6. K-Pop – The Ultimate Audition

Ji Seung Yeon (Go Eun Ah) dreams of becoming a hip-hop artist, and unexpected events set her on the path to achieving it. However, there’s just one problem. She has to dress up as a boy to join a male idol group. Eventually, she meets Kang Woo Hyun (Park Yoo Hwan), the leader of the popular group M2, who hides a rude personality under a bright smile.

Main complaints: disappointing and abrupt ending, some horribly annoying characters, and some important plot points are never answered.

7. 7th Grade Civil Servant

Two rookie spies break up when one of them gets fired. Years later, they both end up being spies for different units, so they have to keep their covers up in real life. Han Gil Ro (Joo Won) uses his real identity, which is why he was fired, to spy on his rich father. When Kim Seo Won (Choi Kang Hee) appears as a new employee, he wonders if she just looks like the woman he used to love.

Main complaints: bad writing, no chemistry, stiff acting, ridiculous and flip-floppy characters, the plot didn’t make sense, and the last half gets extremely boring.

8. Blade Man

Joo Hong Bin (Lee Dong Wook) runs a video game company; however, his employees are terrified of him due to his temper. He is angry all the time, and his sense of smell is more sensitive. His secretary hasn’t told him what happens during his blackouts—when blades come out from his back, and he destructively runs around the city. One day, Hong Bin goes to the hospital to see his employees, who he hurt. There, he notices an intoxicating scent coming from a woman named Song Se Dong (Shin Se Kyung).

Main complaints: campy, absurd, nonsense in the last half, and he ignores his blades for a while.
