CJ ENM Content World is a 213,000 square meter venue that will open on December 1. Due to the safety issues surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic and Hong Kong’s policies over entrance into the country, it has become impossible to hold the event overseas. It also was difficult to find a suitable venue in Korea, so it was eventually decided that the event would be held at CJ ENM Content World.

BTS has already been reported to be confirmed to be attending the event. The rest of the lineup is currently being confirmed on. There is also attention on who will be the host for the event, as Park Go Gum is now serving his mandatory military service. Park Bo Gum has hosted the event since 2017.

CJ ENM has since confirmed that 2020 MAMA is in fact returning to Korea, and will be held as an ontact concert.

2020 MAMA will be held on December 6 in Korea.

MAMA, Asia’s top music award ceremony, has always been growing though the development of innovative ideas. We think this year brings a new opportunity as well. Based on the technology and know-how we have accumulated, we will prepare the best stages so that we can shine as the best global music festival, true to our name.
