BTS’s Jungkook Shares That He Personally Helped Film Their New Music Video For The Upcoming “BE” Release

He’s not called the golden maknae for nothing.

BTS‘s Jungkook set up a live stream on 21 October 2020 to talk to fans about their upcoming album and music video release. Although he was unable to give too many spoilers, he wanted to personally share some exciting news with fans. ARMYs, brace yourselves!

Jungkook shared that a portion of the new music video was personally filmed by him! As Jungkook enjoys editing and taking videos regularly, this time, he took up the challenge of formally helping out with the group’s upcoming production.

Firstly, it was really hard. Mmm…it’s my first time doing something like this. I started taking videos and editing them, out of curiosity at first. Taking videos and editing is really fun, so I did it in my spare time. However, now that I’m approaching it as formal work, the pressure is pretty big. Well, I mean I didn’t do much, but I did meet the director and the other production staff for a meeting between schedules.

He also revealed that his name would be written in the credits for music video direction! However, Jungkook also shared that it was harder than he thought, trying to film a music video. He did his best as always!

Jungkook did not reveal which scene it was that he filmed in the music video, hoping fans would be able to guess it instead.

Anyway, that was what I thought about it. It was fun. I hope ARMYs will like it. Will ARMYs be able to guess which scene I filmed? I’m not going to tell you guys which one it is. I participated in monitoring and things too, and I’m anticipating that ARMYs will be able to know about my filming style. Because I trust ARMYs!

That’s one more thing that ARMYs can look forward to with the new album release! BE is set to drop on 20 November 2020.
