BTS’s Jimin Opens Up About Staying Positive In 2020’s Trying Times

In a new interview, he talked about staying optimistic.

Being optimistic can be challenging, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The “new normal” has been difficult to adjust to for everyone, including BTS.

For months, the members haven’t been able to do what they love most: performing live concerts for their fans. They’ve talked about the toll it’s taken on them, and how much they miss ARMY, but they aren’t letting 2020 bring them down.

I want to perform at a concert. I miss you so much.

On July 29, BTS guested on the show Waktu Indonesia Belanja for Tokopedia to perform songs and answer interview questions. “How is Jimin staying positive?” the host asked.

In reply, Jimin said, “I’m not a person who’s positive all the time, but these days I’ve been feeling thankful for the small things I took for granted. That’s where I’m getting positive energy from.”

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that you can’t always choose your circumstances, but you can choose how you react to them.
