Choi Yena To Reportedly Delay Her Solo Debut To 2022

She won’t be making her solo debut this year.

Former IZ*ONE member Choi Yena will reportedly be delaying her solo debut until the first half of 2022.

According to an exclusive report from Star News, Choi Yena will be delaying her solo debut from the second half of 2021 to the first half of 2022. The reason for the delay is due to Yuehua Entertainment‘s upcoming boy group TEMPEST, which is scheduled to debut later in 2021.

Choi Yena is also working on collecting songs for her solo debut album. While she is working on her album, she is also partaking in various solo activities, so she decided to take her time preparing for her album and her goal is now to have her solo debut in the first half of 2022 instead.

Currently, Choi Yena is the host of her own web variety show Yena’s Animal Detective.
