Director General of WHO Thanks BTS’s J-Hope For Stressing The Importance Of Wearing Masks

A true role model indeed.

The director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom just took to Twitter to express his gratitude toward BTS‘s J-Hope for his contribution in this COVID-19 pandemic.

In his post, Tedros Adhanom expressed,

Thank you, BTS’s J-Hope for reminding BTS ARMY to wear a mask as families gather together and celebrate Chuseok holiday this week.

— Tedros Adhanom

The director-general continued,

I wish everyone celebrating good health, good fortune, and success. Happy Chuseok! Please stay safe and healthy.

— Tedros Adhanom

Ahead of Tedros Adhanom’s shoutout, J-Hope spoke to fans in a broadcast where he advised ARMY to keep their masks on and hang in there as we all fight this pandemic together.

And this isn’t the first time the director-general mentioned BTS in regards to wearing masks during the pandemic.

In early September, he posted another tweet thanking BTS for reminding ARMYs to wear a mask.

BTS are true role models indeed.
