tvN Drama “Hi Bye Mama” Staff Member Suspected Of Coronavirus, March 1 Filming Canceled

Staff and actors could be at risk.

tvN drama Hi Bye Mama, which is also actress Kim Tae Hee’s first return to the screen, has canceled filming after a staff member was suspected of having symptoms of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

According to reports, staff member A, who worked on set for the drama, was feeling symptoms similar to the virus and received an examination and is currently under quarantine until the results are confirmed. Filming for March 1 KST has therefore been canceled.

If staff member A’s test results come out negative for the virus, they will resume filming as planned, but if it turns out positive, this may become a bigger problem. They may have to put an all-stop to filming the drama if this happens.

tvN staff are currently anxiously waiting for the results as there are usually over a hundred or more actors and staff when filming a drama. If one person comes out positive for the virus, there is a high percentage that someone else might have caught the virus as well.

“Hi Bye Mama” aired its first episode on January 22.
