GOT7’s Jay B “Calls Out” Yugyeom For Not Following Him On Twitter

It was an innocent mistake!

GOT7 returned to Twitter Blueroom Live to promote their comeback with their new self-titled EP.

GOT7 have quite the reputation when it comes to Twitter. They were actually the first-ever K-Pop group to appear on Twitter’s Blueroom. Additionally, they have even been credited with some of Twitter’s latest features, including “dark mode” and Spaces.

BamBam also has been the most followed K-Pop idol on Twitter for quite a while now.

He, Jackson Wang, and Jay B especially are very active on Twitter. Yet, some members are not. Jinyoung, for one, doesn’t have an account.

So, during Twitter Blueroom Live, Jinyoung was asked if he would join Twitter. He hesitated to say, so he may not.

And, somehow, even semi-active members were oblivious to others’ Twitter accounts.

During the live broadcast, leader Jay B discovered that maknae Yugyeom was not following him on Twitter! So, he asked him why.

Yugyeom, you didn’t follow me on Twitter?

Yugyeom confessed that he didn’t know that Jay B had an account on Twitter, but he promised to follow immediately after the broadcast ended as he didn’t have his phone on him at the time.

Yugyeom: To be honest, I didn’t even know you had an account… Want me to follow you now?

Jay B: Yes, please do.

Yugyeom: Ah, I don’t have my phone on me. I will follow you after this.

In his defense, Jay B created his account in 2020, and that year was weird for everyone. Besides, Jay B didn’t even inform Ahgases about his account until 2021.

Yugyeom did keep his word, though. He has now followed Jay B on Twitter, so there are no worries anymore.
