“Infinite Challenge” receives award from Ministry of Health and Welfare

MBC’s Infinite Challenge receives suicide prevention award from Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare.

On March 5th, Infinite Challenge released their “Bad Memory Eraser” episode, which highlighted the young generation’s worries in their everyday lives while providing youngsters  words and actions of encouragement.

In response, the ministry explained that “This episode emphasized the gravity of suicide. Yoo Jae Suk and the members’ efforts in producing the suicide prevention promotion video did a lot to spark the public’s interest in this issue.”

According to the ministry, Infinite Challenge will be receiving the award at the Suicide Prevention Day Ceremony at Center Grand Hall in Seoul Yangjaedong on the 9th. At the ceremony, the ministry will award 16 individuals and organizations dedicated to suicide prevention. Other than Infinite Challenge, KBS‘s news reporter Park Sang Bum, CBS reporter Kwon Young Chul, Facebook Korea, and Seoul National University’s Engineering Department (to name a few) will also be awarded.
