Ji Chang Wook Reveals If He Could Be An Idol Member, He Would Not Choose BIGBANG

Ji Chang Wook believes he matches TVXQ‘s style more than BIGBANG‘s.

Actor Ji Chang Wook will be making his first ever appearance on Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook through February 4th’s broadcast. In the past, Ji Chang Wook mentioned that it was his idea to appear on the show and reportedly recorded his segment with an extremely positive attitude, garnering the praise of the show’s staff.

Ji Chang Wook has always liked music, and he previously chose Lee Juck‘s 4th album Love as his favorite. Referring to the album, he said:

“I want to sing all of the songs of the album to the person I love.”

The actor also showed off his own freestyle choreography through a couple dance with Yoo Hee Yeol and once again stunned fans by revealing his hidden piano skills. Ji Chang Wook also performed Kim Dong Ryul‘s “Like a Child” and caught everyone at the studio by surprise with his singing ability.

On the show, Yoo Hee Yeol also asked Ji Chang Wook if he ever thought of being an idol because of his musical talents. To this question, Ji Chang Wook replied

“If I was going to be an idol, I think I would be part of TVXQ. I don’t think my personality matches BIGBANG.”

Ji Chang Wook would choose to join TVXQ over BIGBANG.

Yoo Hee Yeol then asked whether Ji Chang Wook would prefer joining SM, YG, or Yoo Hee Yeol’s company Antenna Music. To this question, Ji Chang Wook simply replied “I don’t know Antenna Music,” drawing laughter from the crowd. His appearance on Sketchbook will be broadcast on February 4 at Midnight KST.
