According to an exclusive report from Sports Donga, Kim Seon Ho’s contract with SALT Entertainment was originally set to expire in early September, more than one month ago. However, due to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, some clauses from his contract were extended.
Kim Seon Ho and SALT Entertainment were discussing a contract renewal since the summer ahead of his contract expiration in early September. Rumors had already spread within the industry that his contract was about to end, and several agencies already attempted to get into contact with him to try to lure him to their agency.
However, due to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, the decision on whether to renew or transfer to a different agency got pushed back to after Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha ended.
