Yeonwoo was originally suspected of planning to leave her group last June. Fans noticed her prolonged hiatus and found alleged “proof” of her decision. However, both she and her agency strongly denied the rumors, with Yeonwoo stating:

This really caught me off guard, but I’m writing as soon as I could because I know my fans probably feel surprised and hurt right now. I’ve been occupied with filming a drama. I just wasn’t able to openly share the details about it.

Yeonwoo has been recently working on her new drama Cheap Chunrima Mart where she plays the role of Park Ho San’s daughter. Her character is best known for her bright energy.
