NCT’s Lucas Drives Everyone Wild With His Costume Of A Popular Anime Character

SM may have canceled their Halloween party, but Lucas is still serving.

After WayV treated fans to a funny version of “Bad Alive” where they struggled to dance in their Disney princess costumes, Lucas decided to show fans a different costume for NCT U‘s “Make A Wish (Birthday Song)” stage for MBC‘s Music Core.

Right from the beginning of the stage, Lucas took fans by surprise with his whistling intro. One look was all that many fans needed to figure out what his costume was—even if it wasn’t from head to toe.

Though his red hair was a nice touch, the big, red scar on the left side of his forehead gave it away that he was meant to be the main character from the massively popular Japanese anime serious Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba.

Lucas was the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy seeking justice for his parents who were murdered by demons and his sister who was turned into one. His look hadn’t been too much of a surprise to some, though.

Through Bubble, Lucas had hinted at the look by posting a photo of Tanjiro.

Now that Lucas has given fans yet another look at them as anime characters, along with Taeyong‘s Shoto Todoroki look, maybe more members will dress up as well.
