Seungri Submits Receipt To Prove That Rumors About His Police Uniform Are False

The receipt shown has no relation to Seungri.

Back in 2014, Seungri uploaded a photo of himself dressed in a police uniform. That same photo resurfaced when he was accused of police cohesion in his recent scandals. Netizens claimed Seungri was wearing the uniform of Police Superintendent Yoon, who is currently being investigated for corruption.

Seungri originally explained that he rented the costume from a rental shop, called Gaksital. Gaksital responded that they could not confirm if Seungri rented from their store, but they had doubted his claims because they don’t rent out police uniforms without substantial documents.

However, Seungri has now submitted receipts that prove that he indeed rented the outfit from Gaksital. The receipts proved that Seungri rented out multiple costumes from the store on October 31, 2014 at 3pm.

Seungri was quoted to have clarified that the police uniform was a simple costume as he didn’t even know Police Superintendent Yoon back in 2014.

“The police uniform from my Instagram photo is a rental from a store called Gaksital.

I didn’t even know Police Superintendent Yoon back in 2014. I met him for the first time in 2017, and I’ve only had lunch with him a few times. That’s it.”
