SEVENTEEN Carries On Their Annual Tradition Of Donating To Charity Focused On Children For Their 7th Anniversary

SEVENTEEN are donation fairies.

SEVENTEEN celebrated their 7th anniversary today, and as they’ve done for the past five years, the group donated to a charity focused on the welfare of children. This year, they donated to UNESCO, specifically for the education of underprivileged youth all over the world who have been negatively affected by COVID-19.

The Korean National Commission of UNESCO announced their donation, and the specific project their donation will be going towards is the “Global Education Coalition.” More than 1.5 billion students and youth have lost their access to or been hindered from education because of school closures due to the pandemic. This project aims to protect children’s right to education, especially during this disruptive time.

In order to return the love we have received over the past 7 years, we have decided to contribute to creating a world in which no one, including the underpriviledged in education, will be marginalized.
