Song Joong Ki Will Reunite With “A Werewolf Boy” Director Jo Sung Hee In A New Movie

It’s been 6 years.

Song Joong Ki may be returning to the big screen in a new movie and his first movie since A Battleship Island in 2016, before his marriage to Song Hye Kyo.

According to industry insiders, Song Joong Ki recently met up with Director Jo Sung Hee in person and gave his word to agree in his new film.

Jo Sung Hee’s new film will be a Sci-Fi project titled 번개호 (literal: Lightning Arc) and his first movie since Phantom Detective in 2016.

Planning for this movie was put on hold in favor of preparations for Phantom Detective, even though it was in planning stages since A Werewolf Boy.

Song Joong Ki is expected to begin preparations and filming for Lightning Arc in the first half of 2019.

Lightning Arc will be set in Korea and star not only Korean actors, but also other star actors from foreign nations.

His agency Blossom Entertainment has commented on the reports about appearing in the movie.
