South Korean Man Threatens Ex-Girlfriend With Lighter And Films Her Rape

It was not his first crime.

The South Korean police have arrested a man in his 20s for rape and for filming without consent. It was reported that the man had threatened his ex-girlfriend’s safety, and proceeded to rape her. He then filmed her rape forcefully.

The horrific incident was taken over by the Paju city police, who hurriedly arrested the man on July 19, 2022. He had brought a lighter close to his ex-girlfriend’s face and forced her to do his bidding. It was stated that he had forced her into sex multiple times and filmed the rape. It was after his arrest that the police confiscated his devices and found unsolicited sexual videos of another ex-girlfriend as well.

The police received a report and tracked his handphone location to hunt him down. They found him on the streets of Moonsan-eup around 10.40 pm on July 19, 2022. They promptly arrested him.

The police plans on investigating the case thoroughly to find out if there are any other crimes or victims.
