Stray Kids Have Been Appointed The First Honorary Ambassadors Of Korean Culture And Information Service

Stray Kids are the first to represent them as a whole:

Stray Kids are now honorary ambassadors for the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), an organization of Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism!

On June 18, Stray Kids officially received their appointment as honorary ambassadors for the organization and, as such, they will now be helping to promote Korean culture and Hallyu content overseas.

In the past, KOCIS has partnered up with other K-Pop groups including BTS, EXO, and WINNER for their Talk Talk Korea contest but this is the first time that the organization has appointed an ambassador to represent them as a whole.

As their first honorary ambassadors, Stray Kids will be participating in a number of KOCIS events throughout the year to bring even more interest to the country!

Through the promotional activities with Stray Kids, we hope that youth around the world will be able to have even more interest in South Korea with even greater feelings of friendliness and closeness.

— Kim Tae Hoon, KOCIS director

While Stray Kids kick off their official ambassador duties, they are also currently getting ready for their next comeback with a special album “Clé 2: Yellow Wood” set to drop June 19.
