Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Takes The Next Step In His Friendship With Ryan Reynolds As He Sends Actor Gifts

Becoming friends with your hero? Big flex.

Stray Kids Bang Chan is perhaps the most successful fanboy!

Last month, Bang Chan revealed that actor Ryan Reynolds, known for playing Marvel‘s Deadpool, is one of his favorite actors and role models. On a recent episode of Mnet‘s Kingdom, Stray Kids performed an exciting remix of BLACKPINK‘s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” mixed with their song “God’s Menu” that included elements inspired by Deadpool.

Later, STAYs tagged Ryan Reynolds in clips of the performance, bringing it to his attention. Since then, Reynolds not only noticed but tweeted in response, tagging Stray Kids. He also sent Bang Chan an autograph while announcing him as his “new favourite Australian” after an episode of Chan’s Room where Bang Chan dressed as Deadpool and said he’d like an autograph.

Bang Chan and Reynolds’ new friendship has continued to develop as Bang Chan has now also sent some goodies to the actor! He replied to Reynolds’ tweet of the autograph with his own pictures of a signed Stray Kids album.

I also have two things. First, an autograph for you? Already on its way. Along with some other goodies that might suit the Red Suit.

Bang Chan also cheekily apologized to Australian actor Hugh Jackman, his other favorite actor, in response to Reynolds saying that Bang Chan is his new favorite Australian.

The two have both taken big steps in their developing friendship. Bang Chan changed his name and bio on Bubble to signify the relationship. Reynolds showed his approval by sharing a screenshot of it as well as subscribing.
