TXT Reveal Their First Impression Of BTS And Being Cast By Big Hit During Radio Interview

They revealed their first impressions about BTS.

As TXT continues to promote their new album release, they have made their way to SBS PowerFM’s Cultwoshow as special guests.

Last month, TXT released their third mini album minisode1 : Blue Hour.

In regards to the meaning behind their group’s name, they stated, “It means that you and I, who are different from each other, meet and create tomorrow together.” They added, “The name was given to us by Bang PD.”

Bang Si Hyuk also participated in creating the lyrics for their new song. “The sun set at 5:53 one day in October in Seoul. It was the prettiest then.”

TXT, who has become quite known for their unique track titles, reveals that it has now become a part of their identity. “We heard that they were trying to come up with a title that expressed the contents of the song well and that ended up becoming our identity.”

In terms of how they were cast to Big Hit, Huening Kai revealed that he was cast on his way back from being kicked off the first round at K-Pop Star. Taehyun revealed that the company heard about him and contacted him first. Beomgyu stated that the company came all the way to Daegu to cast him as well.

The radio host couldn’t skip over BTS, who was also a part of Big Hit. When asked what TXT’s first impression of BTS was, they commented they were shocked to see a real celebrity in person. “We’ve seen them when we were trainees and when we went to greet them after we debuted, they bought us pizza. It was yummy.”
